Refund Policy

This Refund Policy states the terms and conditions under which you are entitled to a refund or replacement for the products and services of Indesign. Please read this document carefully to determine whether or not you are able to request a refund or replacement and the procedures for such request.

For any Indesign product provided to you ("Product"), such as Indesign's Evaluation Kits, you may be able to receive a refund, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The Product must be under the warranty period as defined in the agreement between you and Indesign covering the Product (the "Warranty Period"). If no agreement exists or if no warranty period is stated in the agreement, the Warranty Period shall be thirty (30) days after shipment of the Product by Indesign to you.
  • If the Warranty Period has expired, you are not eligible for a refund, nor are you eligible to receive a replacement Product.
  • If within the Warranty Period, you may be eligible for a refund or for replacement Product as follows:
    • No refund or replacement is due for:
      • Products damaged by misuse, virus, user error, power surge, tampering, or electrostatic discharge;
      • Broken connectors (unless received as broken)
    • Your request for a refund or replacement must be sent by e-mail to techsupport@Indesign-LLC.com and include the following information:
      • Identification of the Product;
      • Your complete contact information (name, address, phone, fax, e-mail, etc.);
      • Date of receipt of the Product;
      • A complete, detailed description of the reason for the request for a refund or replacement; and
      • An indication whether you would like a refund or a replacement for the Product.
    • Indesign will review your request and determine, in its sole discretion, whether you are eligible for the requested refund or replacement. You will then be notified as to your eligibility.
    • If Indesign determines that you are eligible for the requested refund or replacement, Indesign will provide you will a Return Authorization number and instructions for return of the Product. You must return the Product within fourteen (14) days of the notice sent by Indesign to continue to be eligible for the requested refund or replacement.
    • Upon receipt of the returned Product, Indesign will inspect the Product and:
      • If it is determined that the Product is not defective or damaged, Indesign will charge you an inspection fee of $100.
      • If it is determined that the Product is defective but is caused by one of the causes for which no refund or replacement is due, Indesign will charge you an inspection fee of $100 and will provide you with an estimate of the cost of repair or replacement of the Product.
      • If it is determined that the Product is defective and the cause is not excluded from coverage, Indesign will repair or replace the Product at no additional expense to you.

Under no circumstances are you entitled to a refund for any services provided by Indesign, regardless of whether you have pre-paid for such services.

THIS POLICY STATES INDESIGN'S ENTIRE OBLIGATIONS WITH REGARD TO REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS FOR INDESIGN'S PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, WHETHER PRE-PAID OR NOT, PROVIDED BY INDESIGN. IN NO EVENT SHALL INDESIGN BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, WITHOUT REGARD TO THE TYPE OF CLAIM AND EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL INDESIGN BE LIABLE TO YOUR FOR AN AMOUNT TO EXCEED THAT PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE AT ISSUE.
